Summary
Medium-mu twin triode. Widely used in audio amplifiers and other applications in radio and television circuits.
The 6SN7GT and 6SL7GT were the first single-ended twin triodes, introduced c 1941. This example with the GTA suffix has the same characteristics as the original tube but has additional ratings for use as a vertical deflection amplifier in television receivers. As of 2010, this valve is still being manufactured in Russia and China.
CSIRAC ( first computer in Australia) used a large number of 6SN7GT valves.
