Summary

Remote cut-off pentode used as an RF and IF amplifier in radios. It had a 6.3 V indirectly heated cathode. Equivalent to the 2.5 V type 58 and the later octal type 6U7G.
"Brimar" was the brand used by STC for its receiving valves. STC was also notable for being the only English manufacturer making the standard American line of valves during the 1930s.
