Other Details: University of Adelaide botany prize medal, issued around 1912. It features the bust of John Bagot. The prize was established by his wife, Mrs John Bagot, who donated $1,000 in memory of her late husband. The John Bagot Scholarship is awarded annually to the student who has passed with the highest aggregate mark for the subjects Biology I and Environmental Biology I. If two or more students obtain an equal aggregate score then the $300 prize is shared equally amongst them.
