Summary
Set of two boxed packs of playing cards produced for the Sitmar Cruise line, circa 1960s. They were probably made for sale in shipboard souvenir shops. The cards are a good example of the sort of souvenirs produced by post World War Two shipping lines for the tourist and migrant trade.
Physical Description
Boxed set of 2 packs playing cards (1 Blue, 1 red), each card with 'Sitmar Line' insignia. Blue cards loose, red cards still sealed in plastic. Box grey card with blue edging and 'Sitmar Line' inscribed on lid.
