The Iceni tribe inhabited the area that is today Norfolk and its surrounds in England. They are known historically only after the Roman conquest but especially for the revolt of Boudicca (see NU 16784). This coin is one of at least 90 found in a pot at Freckenham in Suffolk in 1885.

A voided cross formed by curved lines; at the centre within a line circle, three crescents around a ring ornament forming a flower-like image

Reverse Description

A horse with simple line formed head; above, a curved ornament decorated with a zig-zag pattern.
