Copper royal farthing token made under patent granted by King Charles I (1625-1649) on 30 May 1625 to the Duchess of Richmond and Sir Francis Crane. A farthing is a 1/4 penny.

At centre, a crown with crossed sceptres behind; around, (mm. nautilus) CARO D G MAG BRI, border of beads.

Reverse Description

At centre, crowned harp with eagle head and six strings; around, FRA ET HIB REX
