Other Details: Medal issued by the Numismatic Association of Victoria to commemorate the sesquicentenary of Victoria. It was the first medal that the NAV had issued since the its Royal Wedding medal in 1981. Designed by Terry Pepperell, immediate past president of the NAV and medal designer, the medal shows the shield of the City of Melbourne on the obverse and Victorian flora and fauna on the reverse. The medal was issued in bronze, sterling silver and gilded (to order). In box; medal number 25.
