More commonly known as the Brisbane Expo, it was a six-month event from April 30 to October 30 1988, at South Bank, Brisbane. Featuring the theme 'Leisure in the Age of Technology', it was the first free enterprise expo, meeting costs through sponsorship, ticket sales, rental of exhibition space and the resale of the site.

Physical Description

A gold plated mirror-proof strike medal issued to mark Stokes involvement in the Bicentennial Trade fair featuring the Royal Exhibition Building as depicted on a Stokes & Martin medal of 1888 and a record of Stokes involvement in Melbourne International exhibitions and their centenaries.
