Other Details: White metal medal issued in 1863 to commemorate the wedding of the Prince of Wales and Princess of Denmark. Albert, Prince of Wales, was the second child and first son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. He later became Edward VII. Alexandra, Princess of Wales, was the eldest daughter of Prince Christian, later King Christian IX of Denmark and the former Princess Louise of Hesse-Cassel.
