Physical Description
A silver coin (16 mm diameter with plain edge) featuring a bare head of George VI facing left; around, GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP: ; below bust in small lettering the artist's initials H.P.. The reverse features three ears of wheat held by a curved ribbon. Around above, AUSTRALIA; around below devided into two by the stalks of the wheat, THREE PENCE, above, across the middle of the coin the date devided into two by the ears, 1943. The artist's initials tucked into the first and last bends in the ribbon K G. The mint mark S is below the right end of the ribbon above the final letter E of PENCE.
