Summary

Australia
Halfpenny 1921
Mint: Sydney

This is a standard working strike. The Sydney mint did not undertake the pre-striking preperation of the coin blanks called marking. This raised the rim before the coin was struck and resulted in a better finish. Weakness can be seen on this piece in the definition of the rim and denticles.
