Summary
This commemorative fifty cent coin created for the 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games features the logo of the Games over a map of Australia; around the logo are figures representing some sports played at the Games: Table Tennis, Badminton, Gymnastics, Archery, Volleyball, Wrestling, Swimming, Boxing, Cycling, Weightlifting, Lawn Bowls and Shooting. The reverse was designed by Stuart Devlin, incorporating the logo designed by Paulo Ferreira. It was minted by the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra.

A twelve-sided cupru-nickel coin (31.5 mm diameter with plain edge).
