Art plaque titled 'Age and Youth' by Rene Baudichon, minted at the Paris Mint, 1904.

A child reaching up to pick an apple from a tree
This medal type was originally produced under the title 'Noces d'argent' (Silver Wedding) with the space on the right on the reverse probably reserved for those who wished to engrave their names and date of marriage. This form, without reference to the Silver Wedding commemoration was produced for the wider art market.
