Obverse Description
Scene of ruin and destruction with a semi-naked woman resting her hand on a child. The child lays its head on the woman's lap as she sits on the ground propped up against the rubble of a building.
Reverse Description
Woman with her face buried in her hands and a scared child being comforted by a figure draped in robes. The woman sits on a stone block, a sack at her feet. On a winding pathway in the background, a draped female figure, supports and guides an injured male soldier with a walking stick.
