Obverse Description
Grief-stricken female figure cradling a baby. Her draped figure stands beside a grave marked by a crudely made wooden cross with a hanging wreath and French soldier's cap. Similar crosses mark several other graveyards in the barren landscape.
Reverse Description
Branches form a wreath with a central blank section where a name can be engraved. Monogram 'RML' (artist's initials) is stamped at lower edge.
Edge Description
Stamped: 'BRONZE'.
