Summary

Thimble that belongs to a hand-embroidered needlebook. They were used by Mrs Vi Morgan, and the notebook was likely made by her. Vi was a trained dressmaker who lived in South Melbourne from the late 1930s to the 1990s. She raised three children born during World War II, and was widowed shortly after the war.
