Other Details: A large-silver plated medal issued to commemorate the Launceston International Reunion of World War II prisoners of war. It was commissioned from Emil Hafner ( whose name appears below the sun) and features a prisoner behind two strands of barbed wire with bamboo on the right and a large sun behind. The reverse shows a crowned shield featuring four strands of barbed wire and on the ribbon 'EX PRISONERS OF WAR ASSN'.
