Physical Description
Khaki heavy wool great coat. Double breasted great coat with 8 bronze coloured buttons from waist to shoulder and two small hidden button and tab closures at lower third. Front has two flap pockets at hip level. Collar which fastens with two metal hooks and eyes, underneath is a tab with two buttons. Sleeves with deep fold back cuffs. Epaullettes with metal AUSTRALIA at shoulder and metal crown badge with red velvet and button with button hole at neck edge. Back has large placket at top half and lower vent with two button concealed closures. Back has double belt at waist level with three buttons and button holes. Oblong cloth badge at top of each sleeve has light blue base, purple background and blue and white stripe. Half lined with khaki cotton fabric, sleeves lined with same fabric. Inside collar has tab for hanging. Left inside lapel has hidden pocket. Lining has small holes .
