A bronze token (31 mm diameter) details of the manufacturer: Stokes & Martin 100 Collins St. East, Melbourne, die sinkers, seal engravers, medallists, button check and token makers, military & masonic ornament makers and, on the reverse the bust of a Maori (without tatoos) facing right. The artist's initials I H (Julius Hoharth) are on the shoulder. This is a gilt specimen.
