Section of lead flashing from the Royal Exhibition Building roof, removed during the building's restoration in the late 1980s - early 1990s.
Physical Description
Rectangular piece of lead with three raised sides and a hole through the centre. Two sides have a small section cut out. Attached to the underside is an octagonal sheet of lead with a hole in the centre. Dents, flaking paint, dirt and some rust are on the surface. White, powder-like residue on surface.
