Summary
Programme for a Ball held by The City of Melbourne, in honour of the visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, at the Exhibition Building, Melbourne, on 2 March 1954.
The programme has the Melbourne coat of arms at the upper margin of the cover, and an illustration of the Round Tower of Windsor Castle, the Royal residence.
Physical Description
Booklet style programme for a Royal Ball. The cover of the programme is off-white coloured cardboard. It features text printed in brown ink, and a colour illustration of part of Edinburgh Castle, contains within an embossed circular border. Fixed to the interior of the cover is the programme of events; it is printed on a single piece of paper which has been folded in half. The back face is fixed to the left side of cover. The Programme is printed in brown text, and lists 25 dance numbers.
