Summary
Bound scrapbook with newspaper cuttings relating to Phar Lap, jockey Jim Pike, strapper Tommy Woodcock, trainer/owner Harry Telford, and owner David J. Davis from the periods 1930-1939 and 1960-1982. There are also two loose photographs in a folio at the rear of the scrapbook. One has an image of jockey Jim Pike on Phar Lap and the other is of the son of owner/trainer Harry Telford, Gerald, holding up the 1930 Melbourne Cup.

Approximately 70 sheets of brown paper bound into a brown leather binder with 3 screws. Contains newspaper clippings with text and images (B&W and colour), Some handwritten text in pen.
