Summary
German made, cylindrical wooden box decorated with a transfer print image of the (Royal) Exhibition Building. It was purchased as as souvenir of the Melbourne Centennial International Exhibition (MCIE) by the donor's great-uncle, of Yarraville. The MCIE was held in the (Royal) Exhibition Building from 1 August 1888 to 31 January 1889.
