Summary
Photographic negative showing display of an Italian knight on horseback at the Institute of Applied Science (Science Museum), in the 1960s. This model was displayed with the Museum's extensive weapons collection in Barry Gallery.
The suit of armour, known as the Pisan Armour, was on loan to the Science Museum of Victoria from a private owner who was originally from Melbourne but lived in Europe. When the loan was returned, the owner requested that it be sent to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
