Summary
Silver denarius struck during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian for his son Domitian in the period 77 to 78 AD, Ancient Roman Empire. Minted by Rome. Domitian was Consul for the fifth time (COS V on the reverse of this coin) in 77 AD and for the sixth time in 79 AD, the production of this coin is therefore bracketed to the period 77 to 78 AD.
