View looking west along Yarra Street Pier, Geelong, showing an iron-hulled French square-rigged sailing ship or baque moored at the right. In the background can be seen the skyline of Geelong, including the chimney of the old Geelong Power Station (built 1900) at the corner of Yarra and Brougham Streets, and the Dennys Lascelles and Dalgety wool stores. This vessel is possibly the French sailing vessel "Duguay Trouin" which loaded bagged wheat at Geelong between 8th and 26th Septenber, 1917.
