Description of Content

A group of people beside a LASCO Lascoter aeroplane at Sea Lake. It was taking people on joy flights. The Lascoter was the only one of its type built by the Larkin Aircraft Supply Co. at Coode Island, Melbourne in 1929. It was the first Australian designed and built aeroplane to be granted a Certificate of Airworthiness. It was later re-engined with an Armstrong Siddeley Jaguar engine as seen in this image.
