I would love to have any clues to help me piece together that side of my fathers family and also I am happy to help if you need further info. Kind regards Leah

Discovery CentrePosted on 14 Jul 2010 at 11:04 AM GMT+10:00This photograph was copied from the collection of Mary Hogan, whose family appears among the tennis players, here. As such, we have less information about the Long family (also depicted) in our records. We can only suggest that you continue your genealogical research using traditional online avenues, like the websites of Australian government archives. You may be particularly interested in the list of state-based registries of births, deaths and marriages, here: http://bit.ly/9mxCNb
Rae MartinPosted on 12 Jul 2010 at 02:24 AM GMT+10:00Hello!
I came across the photo of Bendigo, Victoria 1914. Reg # MM 00410. I am trying to find some information on the Long Family from Bendigo. One of the children I know of was Gladys Muriel Long. Born in Bendigo, possibly between 1880 - 1890. She married Austin James Gibbons, Nov 11, 1907 in Mount Morgan, Western Australia. Gladys died 1935 in Fremantle, Western Australia. If you might be able to give me some information on her family from Bendigo or suggest another avenue I might be able to follow up on, it would be so much appreciated.
Many thanks
Sincerely,
Rae Martin,
