Summary
A school which was held in a men 's hut at 'Wando Vale' station until it was re-located to the Wando Vale hall in 1907 and then to a permanent school building in about 1908-09. The pupils stand in lines, all holding hands.
According to Chris McConville in Mum and Dad Made History (1988), under the Closer Settlement Act the government bought up and subdivided large properties in the Wando Vale area, and hundreds of families came to settle in the area.
