Summary

This image shows the aftermath of an explosion at the Mildura Co-operative Fruit Company which happend on 13 November 1934, when a boiler on the site burst.
The photograph is from a set of 81 images mainly depicting life in and around Mildura in the 1920s and 1930s. They were donated by Donnie Byrne, whose ancestors settled in Mildura in 1880s.
They are part of the Biggest Family Album collection of images comprising approximately 10,000 negatives documenting life in rural and regional Victoria dating from the 1890s to the 1940s
