Description of Content

Weatherboard building with 'BANK OF AUSTRALASIA' written across top section above the doorway and windows. The bank has a semi-flat angular roof. Two large windows with wooden shutters dominate the facade and a doorway is located to the left. Corrugated iron fencing sits either side of the bank and a larger attached building with brick chimneys and verandah is set back from street. The road in front of the bank is dirt and the footpath is raised with a telegraph pole in front of the bank's entrance. A larger brick building with several chimneys can be partially seen to the right.
