Description of Content
Chaffcutting team at work processing grain crops. At the left are two large hay stacks. In the centre is an early International Harvester 'Mogul' (?) oil tractor belt-driving a travelling chaffcutter. Bags filled with the chaff are being stacked on the right by two men. Chaff was used for feed by working horses employed in tasks such as ploughing, harvesting and road transport. In front of the haystacks is what appears to be a small hand-powered grain gristing mill. In the foreground are five somewhat crooked wooden posts of a wooden post and wire fence. In front of the fence is a dirt track with two piles of horse dung lying on the track. In the background is a tree-line of mallee scrub.
