Description of Content
Traralgon Brass Band in about 1915. Bandmaster Mr J.T. 'Tom' Tansey is seated in the centre holding a cornet. Sitting to his right (viewer's left) is his daughter, Miss Hilda Tansey. A motor bike is parked on each side of the group. The Euphonium player, second back row, far left is Leslie C Davidson. He became Drum Major of the Band prior to his death in 1960.
