Description of Content

Members of the family of Walter Benn in front of their house. There is a man, woman and three children. They are wearing clothing typical of the Edwardian period: the woman is wearing a full length black dress, the man a suit and three young boys are wearing jackets and trousers with long boots. They are standing in their front garden which is overgrown with native plants.There is a vine growing over the verandah. The hillside in the background is covered in dead trees, possibly ring-barked from being burnt in a fire.
