Description of Content
Construction of the fort on Bare Island, Botany Bay. Designed by Peter Scratchley, Bare Island Fort was built to protect Sydney's water supply. Peter Scratchley also designed Fort Nepean, South Channel and Queenscliff Forts during the period 1875 - 1890.
