Summary
Copper Quadrans struck during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian in 71-73 AD, Ancient Roman Empire. Minted by Rome. The reverse form on this coin occurs with two possible obverse legends, the first ending with COS III and the second with COS IIII. This section of the legend is missing on this coin and the available space could have contained either form. The coin is therefore placed in the period 71-73 AD when Vespasiian was Consul for his third and fourth times, the fifth was in 74 AD.
