Submarine diesel engines in Power House: Oct 1925. Photo shows the diesel engine, with generator in the foreground, which provided the power for the Sunshine factory. Power was also supplied to the residents of Sunshine until the suburb was connected to the S.E.C. supply in the early 1940's.
