A six coin set of 2 dollar, 1 dollar, 50 cent, 20 cent, 10 cent, 5 cent housed in a printed pack which gives a brief history of Federation together with a photograph of the Royal Exhibition Buildings. This set contains the commemorative Federation dollar coin with a reverse based on the Centenary logo, a single line creating a map of Australia and ending at the Federation Star.
Obverse Description
All coins bear a crowned head of Elizabeth II facing right ; around, ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2001. The artists initials, IRB (Ian Rank-Broadley) are in the field below the Queen's neck
Reverse Description
Standard types for: $2 - Aboriginal; 20 cent - platypus; 10 cent - lyrebird; 5 cent - spiny anteater. Commemorative reverse for: $1 - Centenary of Federation logo; 50 cent - Australian Arms
