Summary
Early combine or complete harvester built to the design patented in 1885 by brothers Hugh Victor McKay & John McKay, of Drummartin, and manufactured for McKay Bros., of Sandhurst (now Bendigo), Victoria, circa 1887-1888. Probably one of 25 patent harvesters built under contract for McKay Bros, by G.F. Pickles & Son's Carriage Works, Sandhurst, between August and December 1887.
