Summary

Black and white photograph of McKay apprentice Arthur Rose. He was an evacuee from Kent, England and worked as an apprentice at Sunshine since August 1944. He returned to England in December 1945. The Sunshine Review described Rose as being "a popular member of the various departments in which he worked". Prior to his departure from the factory, Rose received parting gifts which included an engraved wristlet watch, money belt and a wallet containing notes.
