Item MM 22701 Photograph - H.V. McKay Pty Ltd, Farm Equipment Manufacture & Field Trials, Sunshine, Victoria, May 1920

Description of Content

This 'Template' harvester was the prototype for all future harvesters. Note the long arm for foot and hand steering by the farmer from the steel seat. The grain tank has not yet been fitted to the harvester. Note the swing trees for the horse-pull.
