Physical Description
A brass medal (32 mm diameter) featuring Ian Armstrong's celebrating on his penny-farthing bicycle, his arms and feet raised, he is waving an Australian flag and his top-hat, together with the 1987 emu & kangaroo 30 years in Frankston commemorative reverse.

At centre, Ian Armstrong seated on a penny-farthing bicycle both feet lifted and both hands raised, in his left hand a top-hat, in his right an Australian flag; around, ARMSTRONG SHOE MART FRANKSTON 12000 TOKENS ISSUED 1977.87; across field left, IAN / ARMSTRONG; across field right, MR / PENNY / FARTHING

At centre on grassy base an emu standing facing right and a kangaroo standing facing left; above, 30 YEARS IN FRANKSTON in exergue 1987
