Summary
Illuminated neon signs and rows of coloured lights on the facade of a row of buildings opposite Her Majesty's Theatre in Exhibition Street, during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. They house the showrooms of a number of car dealerships.
One of a set of 147 35mm Kodachrome slides donated to the Museum in 1987. The images are all taken during the Olympic Games held in Melbourne in November and December, 1956.
