Summary
A front view of an empty vintage car in a rally held during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. It shows the windscreen and three metal and enamelled car badges, including those for the RACV and the Melbourne Olympics 1956, as well a Veteran Car Club of Victoria Golden Fleece Rally sign. Another sign denotes the car to be a 1908 F.I.A.L. (Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Legnano), an Italian company that existed for less than three years.
One of a set of 147 35mm Kodachrome slides donated to the Museum in 1987. The images are all taken during the Olympic Games held in Melbourne in November and December, 1956.
