Summary
A man wearing a chef's uniform at the Olympic Village during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. A notation on the slide frame identifies him as the head British Chef. Many of the teams, especially from larger countries, bought one or more chefs to cook their traditional foods.
One of a set of 147 35mm Kodachrome slides donated to the Museum in 1987. The images are all taken during the Olympic Games held in Melbourne in November and December, 1956.
