Summary
The cycling veladrome at Olympic Park during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Four different track cycling events were held here including the Men's Tandam, in which Australians Joey Browne and Anthony Marchant won the Gold Medal.
One of a set of 147 35mm Kodachrome tranparencie slides donated to the Museum in 1987. The images are all taken during the Olympic Games held in Melbourne in November and December, 1956.
