Fitzroy Football Club Premiership gold prize medal, issued in 1904, awarded to player Les Millis.
Les Millis played for Fitzroy 1903-1909 (according to the Brisbane Lions web site, successors to the Melbourne team Fitzroy). He was club champion / Best & Fairest in 1905 and 1906.
In 1904, Captain Gerald Brosnan led the premiership team to victory over Carlton. It was Fitzroy's its third VFL premiership, and the first to include an Aboriginal player in a premiership side. Joe Johnson also played in the 1905 premiership side. He played a total of 55 games for Fitzroy. The Fitzroy Football Club was formed in 1883 and merged with the Brisbane Bears to form the Brisbane Lions in 1996.
