Summary
A group of people looking at a Franklin vintage car stopped in a rally held during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. The Franklin Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobile manufacturer which operated in Syracuse, New York, between 1902 and 1934.
One of a set of 147 35mm Kodachrome slides donated to the Museum in 1987. The images are all taken during the Olympic Games held in Melbourne in November and December, 1956.
