Horses on the platform of Hunter Railway Station. They are sheltering in the shade of the station's veranda. The station buildings include a small timber building and a small corrugated iron shed. An advertisement for a zoo is hung above a bench in the corrugated iron shed. The horses belonged to soldier settlers and had wandered on to the platform.
