Image depicting a group of servicemen all standing around chatting in various groups. The two servicemen in the centre talking are identified at Harpham and Ken Henderson. Trooper Leonard Wilson Harpham enlisted on September 22, 1914 and was assigned to the 5th Light Horse Regiment, C Section. In July 1915 he was promoted to Lance Corporal before being granted a provisional discharge in December 1915 to take up a commission as a Second Lieutenant with the Royal Field Artillery, Special Reserve, Imperial Force. Trooper Kenneth Selby Henderson enlisted on October 1, 1914 and was assigned to the 5th Light Horse Regiment C Squadron. In November 1915 he was granted a provisional discharge to take up a temporary commission with the Royal Flying Corp.
